Jawhar Palace

Chief among these is the Jaivilas Palace, a palace. Although the palace is a private property, the grandeur lends itself to its historical significance. The palace has beautiful oil paintings of the kings of the Mukne dynasty. Apart from this, rare furniture and other items have also been preserved here. The palace is located 42 km from Palghar. Also known as’ Palghar District Mahabaleshwar ‘. It is also gifted with dense forests and a rich pleasant climate. The best time to visit Jawhar is during the monsoons when fog envelops the surrounding villages and hills. Jawhar is also known for Warli paintings. It is a place of typical climate surrounded by forests in a very serene environment. The ruins of Jaivilas and Bhupatgarh, the tribal gods, are worth seeing. Dadar, Kopradhabdaba are worth seeing. Similarly, Hanuman Point is similar to Sunset Point.

Arnala Beach

Arnala is a beautiful fort in the sea forts. It is located in Arnala village, Vasai taluka. Arnala Fort is also known as ‘Jaldurg’ or ‘Zanjire Arnala’. Arnala has been under the control of many empires such as Mughals, Marathas, Portuguese, and finally Peshwas. Sultan Mahmud Begda originally built this fort in 1516 AD. There is no food but water is well available at the fort. The fort is rectangular in shape and is almost surrounded by water. There are many temples like Trimbakeshwar, Bhavani Mata, Kalika Mata and Mahadev. There are three entrances, one of which has a large bastion on both sides which is on the north side of the fort.

Dahanu Boardy Beach

Dahanu Bordi Beach is located in Dahanu taluka of Palghar district. It is spread over a distance of 17 km. It is also famous for its wide and neat beach and the abundance of Chiku fruits and roses. Although it is very hot here in summer, a gentle breeze cools the entire beach. The Mecca of Zoroastrians is a magnificent temple that houses the Zoroastrian sacred fire. It is believed that this fire has been kept intact for almost a thousand years. The Iranian and Persian culture has been preserved here, attracting more foreign tourists.

Zai Beach

A few miles from Bordi Beach is the beautiful village of Zai under Talasari taluka, from where you can reach the serene Zai Beach.
