The nature of the scheme<\/span><\/td>\nA subsidy of Rs.10,000\/- can be deposited in the bank account in favor of girls through DBT for distribution of kanyadan materials to girls belonging to families below poverty line and families whose income limit is up to Rs.1,20,000\/-.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Objective of the scheme<\/span><\/td>\nIt will help prevent child marriage. Alternatively, malnutrition, infant mortality and maternal mortality can be prevented.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Beneficiaries of the scheme<\/span><\/td>\nGirls who are married after completing 18 years and son after completing 21 years.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Nature of benefit<\/span><\/td>\nRemittance of Rs.10,000\/- into the bank account of the beneficiary concerned<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Eligibility criteria<\/span><\/td>\nUnder this scheme, a subsidy of Rs.10,000\/- can be deposited in the bank account in favor of girls through DBT for distribution of kanyadan materials to girls from families below the poverty line and families whose income limit is up to Rs.1,20,000\/-.<\/p>\n

Marriageable age of girl must be 18 years and boy must be 21 years.<\/p>\n

It will be mandatory for girl child to pass 10th standard.<\/p>\n

The marriage period of the girl should be between April 24 to February 25.<\/p>\n

If the girl belongs to the Gram Panchayat area of \u200b\u200bPalghar district, it will be necessary to recommend the Gram Panchayat while submitting the application for Kanyadan Yojana.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Necessary documents<\/span><\/td>\nComplete application form, marriage certificate, all accompanying documents, Aadhaar card, proof of local resident (eg ration card), poverty line number and certificate or income certificate of Tehsildar, copy of gram sabha resolution if in tribal area, copy of back account passbook.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
