2 milking cow/buffalo group allocation, 10+1 goat group allocation
Under these schemes, the Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries are provided with means of income through self-employment. The following schemes are included under this scheme.
To encourage farmers for yam production, under this scheme, yam seeds/pot/of yam will be provided to each beneficiary at 100% subsidy of Rs. 4000.
All categories of livestock farmers can take advantage of this scheme.
Distribution of 100 one-day-old chicks under Integrated Poultry Development Program–
For the development of poultry farming in the district, under the District Annual Plan, 100 day old chicks will be provided to the poor aspiring livestock farmers of all categories at 50% subsidy.

To create interest in self-employment among disabled cattle breeders in the district, for economic growth through milk production, the amount of one cow as prescribed by the government is Rs. 70000/- and the amount of one buffalo is Rs. 80000/-. Under this scheme, 90% Z.P. Grant is fixed at Rs. 1,26,000 for two cows and Rs. 1,44,000/- for two buffaloes. The insurance and transportation expenses of the cow/buffalo have to be borne by the beneficiary himself.
To create interest in self-employment among disabled livestock farmers in the district and increase the income of livestock farmers. Goat group (10+1) The amount prescribed by the government is Rs. 68,000/-. Zilla Parishad 90% subsidy of Rs. 61200/- is prescribed. The insurance and transportation expenses of the goat group (10+1) have to be borne by the beneficiary himself.
Providing financial assistance to livestock owners whose animals died in emergencies
The objective of the scheme is to provide immediate financial assistance to the livestock owners of animals that have died suddenly due to natural and emergency situations, e.g. flood/heavy rain/lightning strike/animals falling in a mountain pass/animals dying due to collapse or burning of a house/snake bite/poisoning/rabies/serious illness.
