Under the Birsa Munda Krishi Kranti Yojana, Scheduled Tribes and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Krishi Swavalamban Yojana, Scheduled Caste/Nova Buddhist farmers are provided with package grants for new irrigation wells, repair of old wells, plastic lining of farm ponds, etc. The entire process from farmer application to fund disbursement is done online on the MahaDBT portal.

Beneficiaries eligible for the scheme
* The beneficiary should be a Scheduled Tribe / Scheduled Caste / Neo-Buddhist farmer.
* Must have agricultural land of minimum 0.40 hectare to maximum 6.00 hectare in one's own name.
* Preference given to female disabled beneficiaries and priority given to farmers below the poverty line in the reserve fund
* Must not have previously availed the benefit of a new irrigation well from central or state funds
